About the Role:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of solar construction projects from initiation to completion. This includes coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and implementing effective project management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the planning and execution of solar construction projects, including site preparation, installation, and commissioning.
2. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to timelines and financial targets.
3. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
4. Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
5. Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and internal teams to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns.
6. Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions to project timelines.
7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience managing solar construction projects, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
3. Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
5. Solid understanding of construction principles, techniques, and best practices.
6. Familiarity with relevant software tools for project management and scheduling.
7. Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide project teams towards achieving project objectives.
