About the Role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with expertise in Renewable Energy Infrastructure to join a leading renewable energy organization in the Philippines. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, construction, and optimization of wind energy projects, ensuring that all civil engineering aspects are delivered to the highest standards. This role emphasizes technical excellence, stakeholder collaboration, and a commitment to delivering impactful renewable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement civil engineering designs for wind energy projects, including site layouts, road networks, and turbine foundations.
• Perform feasibility studies and detailed site assessments to ensure compliance with technical, environmental, and safety standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical and geotechnical engineers, to integrate civil designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring project milestones are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with government agencies, contractors, and local stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and permits.
• Identify and address civil engineering challenges during the development and construction phases, ensuring timely resolution.
• Provide technical support for project documentation, cost estimates, and schedules to align with project goals.
• Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, and regulatory changes relevant to civil engineering in renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineering (PE) licensure is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong preference for experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in civil engineering design tools and software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, construction methods, and engineering standards related to renewable energy projects.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Philippine regulatory frameworks and permitting processes is highly desirable.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.
