About the Role

NextWave is working with a leading solar developer in Taiwan. This Senior Financial Controller role will report to the CFO and requires an innovative finance professional to lead the financial controlling and accounting teams while supporting the growth of the business.



Responsibilities

  • Lead, execute, and monitor financial and accounting tasks for the company and affiliates
  • Support executives in shaping long-term financial strategies to boost competitiveness and corporate value
  • Establish a robust financial control system, ensuring daily operations' integrity and risk management
  • Manage tax planning, compliance, and audits, ensuring timely filings
  • Supervise funding strategies, including planning, allocation, and auditing
  • Support various departments in insurance, financial statement prep, investment evaluations, and due diligence.
  • Conduct finance department performance evaluations, nurture talent, and control budget costs.
  • Exercise strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication for cross-functional teamwork.



Requirements:

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree above in accounting, finance management, or related field.
  • Professional Certification: Holding relevant accounting certifications such as CPA or CMA will be a plus
  • Experience: Several years of experience in financial/accounting roles, including managerial experience
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English
  • Skills: Familiarity with financial software and data analysis tools
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to ongoing learning and knowledge updates
