About the role
We are currently partnering with a client to look for their Program Manager to support their HVAC Center of Excellence (CoE) team. In this position, you will serve as a key support member, collaborating closely with the CoE team to monitor the advancement of various projects, including project delivery, product development, and innovation research. Your responsibilities will focus on coordinating efforts, aligning resources, and managing documentation to ensure the seamless progress of all HVAC initiatives within the CoE.
Roles and responsibilities
Program Support and Coordination
- Track and manage the progress of CoE initiatives, ensuring alignment with objectives.
- Collaborate with teams to allocate resources, schedule tasks, and maintain project timelines.
Documentation and Reporting
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status updates, milestones, and issue logs.
- Regularly update the CoE Leader on program progress, highlighting risks or areas requiring attention.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a bridge between project teams and CoE leadership to ensure effective communication and alignment with program goals.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration to foster knowledge sharing and improve project efficiency.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance CoE processes and workflows for better operational efficiency.
- Implement best practices and support ongoing improvements in project management within the CoE.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a project or program support role, preferably in the HVAC or smart building industries.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail in tracking and managing project data.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and industry practices is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication abilities to ensure smooth information flow between teams and leadership.
- Proficient in delivering clear and concise updates to various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management and documentation tools (e.g., Airtable or similar).
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite for creating reports and presentations.
- Good to have experience in a Center of Excellence (CoE) or a similar support-oriented role.
- Good to have basic understanding of HVAC systems and terminology.
