About the Role:

Our client is a leading consultancy in the Power Delivery sector within the state of Texas, looking to bring on a Transmission Line Engineer to their team. The ideal candidate enjoys playing a large part in their community and strives for professional success.

Responsibilities

  • Engineering and design of overhead transmission line projects from 4kV to 500kV.
  • Ability to design underground transmission line projects from 69kV to 230kV.
  • Prepare detail cost estimates.
  • Be a liaison with clients and contractors, and coordinate with various disciplines and permitting agencies.
  • Ability to take on leadership responsibilities, and a direct report as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant Transmission Line Design experience
  • Experience with softwares such as PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, Microstation, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • PE License in the state of Texas (Preferred)
