About the Role
We are collaborating with a pioneering energy company expanding its portfolio across solar, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), and wind projects in Japan. They are seeking an experienced Technical Asset Manager to lead operations and maintenance (O&M) management across their diverse renewable energy assets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day O&M activities for operational solar, BESS, and wind assets.
• Monitor asset performance, ensuring optimal efficiency and uptime across all projects.
• Coordinate with O&M contractors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize asset longevity and performance.
• Conduct regular site inspections, performance analysis, and reporting to key stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, O&M contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Lead the resolution of technical issues and ensure regulatory compliance across all assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset management, with a focus on O&M in solar, BESS, and/or wind energy.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and O&M best practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.
