Backed by a leading investment firm committed to shaping innovative solutions, this company is at the forefront of revolutionising the renewable energy landscape.
They are seeking to recruit an Operations and Maintenance manager in the Philippines.As the O&M Manager, you will play a crucial role in performance management, contractor management and overall asset management of the operational assets in the Philippines.
Role & Responsibilities
Oversee operations and maintenance of ground-mounted solar power plants.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), method statements, and checklists for on-site O&M activities.
Create and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for O&M bidding, including negotiation and finalisation of contracts with O&M contractors.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements necessary for plant operation.
Handle invoicing to utilities and customers, and coordinate with utilities for payment collection.
Manage contracts, payment schedules for O&M contractors, vendors, and utilities.
Oversee maintenance activities, including performance monitoring of the solar assets.
Drive performance improvements of operational assets.
Maintain asset performance in line with commitments to investors and lenders.
Manage the takeover of new sites, including the development of handover/takeover plans.
Implement safety management systems across operational projects.
Be prepared to travel to various sites as needed.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Bachelors' degree (in Electrical or Electronics Engineering)
7-10 years of experience in solar industry
Strong technical knowledge of Solar industry and technologies
Knowledgeable about the implementation of the monitoring system for solar power plants.
Due to the nature of the role, strong interpersonal and written communication skills in
English would be required.
Strategic thinking and leadership skills.
Strong prioritization skills
Able to plan and execute under defined procedures.
Experience in contractor finalization and management.
Strong data analytics skills.
