About the Role
We are working with a leading renewable energy developer in Japan, expanding rapidly across solar, wind, and energy storage sectors. The company is seeking a Civil & Geotechnical Manager to oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of their renewable energy projects throughout Japan.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations and civil engineering assessments for solar, wind, and BESS projects.
• Oversee the design and implementation of foundation systems, earthworks, and site drainage.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects meet technical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with external contractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience in civil and geotechnical engineering within the renewable energy sector, particularly in Japan.
• Strong understanding of Japanese construction standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English.
