Senior WTG Commissioning Supervisor - Offshore

Responsibilities
:

  • Support privately owned equipment related to the clients security and management software.
  • Monitor and report on the status of commissioning activities.
  • Ensure that any outstanding work and quality issues are identified and addressed.
  • Confirm mechanical and electrical completion based on as-built documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with project HSE rules and local regulations throughout all work.
  • Organize and execute tasks in accordance with the commissioning manual.
  • Verify that tests are conducted and commissioning activities are documented following established rules, procedures, and templates.
  • Review and assess the validity of commissioning progress reported in daily updates.
  • Facilitate proactive management and effective communication and coordination among all parties to streamline processes.

Tasks

  • Coordinate commissioning walk-downs with the supplier.
  • Train and onboard Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) Commissioning Supervisors.
  • Report quality issues in the NCR system and follow up on their resolution.
  • Participate in the review, preparation, and coordination of detailed commissioning schedules.
  • Verify that tests are performed and properly documented.
  • Review tests to ensure compliance with the commissioning manual and contract specifications.
  • Monitor performance tests of sub-systems.
  • Track and follow up on snags and NCRs for project reporting.
  • Attend site meetings to contribute to discussions and planning.
  • Ensure that commissioning documentation adheres to the manual, rules, and guidelines.
  • Verify that HSE procedures are effectively implemented.
  • Participate in data collection and analysis for quality performance surveys.
  • Ensure that QAS is kept up to date.
  • Attend and contribute to First Article Inspections.
