About the Role
NextWave are working with a leading clean fuels developer who are looking to hire an experienced Project Development Manager to lead the origination development of new green hydrogen projects in the USA.
Responsibilities
- Lead Project development and maturation of opportunities for green hydrogen and clean fuels projects
- Lead project permitting process required during the project development phase
- Devise and support the development of market entry strategies and market development, including coordinating input/engagement with state and local policymakers and regulators to mature new market opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential development, supply chain, and off-take partners in the industry
- Manage project development and support stakeholder relations including state and local officials, regulators, utilities, market operators, and community leaders, for green hydrogen policy development
- Coordinate internal workstreams with engineering, technical, outreach, permitting, finance, legal, EPC, and grid teams to support analysis as needed to ensure the effective development of proposals and future projects
- Monitor, track, and analyze green hydrogen competitive market intelligence and communicate periodically to key internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in a relevant field
- Prior experience in the green hydrogen sector would be preferable
- Extensive stakeholder management experience clean fuels sector
- A minimum of 5 years' experience developing clean fuel projects
- Eligibility to work in the US
