About the Role

The client is a renewable solar developer and Investor and one of the biggest community-scale developers in the Northeast.

They are looking for someone who will use their expertise in tendering, negotiating, and executing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction contracts to support Solar & Battery Storage projects. Flexible on title with the right experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle negotiation and contract execution and manage purchase orders.
• Manage contracting, negotiations and supplier awarding and collaborate with engineering, development and construction teams to support contracting strategies and demand forecast.
• Review and level vendor proposals and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and mitigate complex risk through negotiation of applicable terms and conditions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy sector in Construction Procurement with a focus on negotiating EPC contracts.
• The ideal candidate will have knowledge of (suppliers, markets, trends) of the renewable energy industry and knowledge of the competitive bid process of EPC contracts and negotiation techniques.
• Experience in applying efficient procurement processes, structures, and analytical tools with a strong eye for detail and ensuring accuracy in the exchange of information and contracts.
