About the Role
NextWave are working with a leading global developer who have a large portfolio of offshore wind projects in Korea. Due to this activity, they are looking to hire a Portfolio Development Lead to manage the technical front-end development of this project portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the initial technical project advancement across various technical fields, guiding the technical design of wind farm projects within the portfolio.
- Spearhead the development, impetus, and management of endeavors to ensure the acquisition of secure, prompt, and top-notch technical resolutions and project delivery.
- Foster and sustain pivotal supplier connections, propelling procurement and local support.
- Drive the development, impetus, and management of efforts to ensure secure, timely, high-caliber technical resolutions and project delivery, while nurturing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project completion.
- Guarantee the provision of dependable, timely, and top-tier reporting, analyses, and presentations.
- Offer technical assistance for project consent applications.
- Direct the development of CAPEX and associated technical DEVEX.
- Coordinate technical packages and their managers, helping to establish and lead a team in Seoul with global connections.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in a relevant field
- Prior experience managing the development of an offshore wind project from origination through to execution
- Due to the interface management responsibilities, fluency in English is essential
- A minimum of 10 years offshore wind experience
