As an HSE Coordinator, you'll oversee HSE matters in assigned tenders and projects, providing guidance as necessary. Responsibilities include preparing HSE documentation, leading incident management, and:
- Coordinating with tender and project staff.
- Providing HSE information during pre-qualifications.
- Contributing to internal improvement projects in the QHSE department and Offshore Wind division.
- Offering on-site support and advice when needed.
- Conducting audits and inspections within projects.
- Compiling and reporting HSE statistics at project and Business Unit levels.
Requirements:
- Apply theoretical knowledge to practical solutions with strong analytical skills.
- Work in a structured, organised manner with excellent social and communication skills.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in HSE, Engineering, or maritime studies.
- Possess NEBOSH certification
- Have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with practical experience.
- Willingness to work in Japan
- Experience in the offshore wind industry.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Japanese.
- Demonstrated understanding of global health and safety legislation, HSE systems, and standards.
