As an HSE Coordinator, you'll oversee HSE matters in assigned tenders and projects, providing guidance as necessary. Responsibilities include preparing HSE documentation, leading incident management, and:

  • Coordinating with tender and project staff.
  • Providing HSE information during pre-qualifications.
  • Contributing to internal improvement projects in the QHSE department and Offshore Wind division.
  • Offering on-site support and advice when needed.
  • Conducting audits and inspections within projects.
  • Compiling and reporting HSE statistics at project and Business Unit levels.

Requirements:

  • Apply theoretical knowledge to practical solutions with strong analytical skills.
  • Work in a structured, organised manner with excellent social and communication skills.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in HSE, Engineering, or maritime studies.
  • Possess NEBOSH certification
  • Have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with practical experience.
  • Willingness to work in Japan
  • Experience in the offshore wind industry.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Japanese.
  • Demonstrated understanding of global health and safety legislation, HSE systems, and standards.
