About the Role

NextWave Partners USA is working with a global renewable energy platform backed by a global investment fund through its 15 billion$ impact investment fund. The client focuses on developing, constructing and being long-term owners of renewable energy assets. Their current portfolio is 14 GW of operational, under construction, or near ready-to-build Solar and renewable energy projects under development, across Europe, US, and LATAM.

The client is looking for a Director of Asset Management who will be responsible for managing all aspects of O&M renewable projects, local stakeholders, offtake, operations, origination and financial market interfaces.

Responsibilities

• This position will monitor all O&M activities and P&L, acquire and validate settlements, and maintain a relationship with service suppliers, O&M contractors, and equipment providers.
• You will help improve the performance of energy plants and operational expenses by implementing methods and tools.
• You will also represent the business in front of lenders, financing entities, authorities, and investors.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience managing renewable assets.
• Experience with bidding and assets' rules and procedures and asset trading and optimization.
• Experience with commercial and technical asset management
• Experience across CAISO, ERCOT, and MISO.
