About the Role

NextWave are working with a leading international renewable energy developer to help grow their team in Singapore. They are putting together the core members of their team and are looking for a Development Manager to work on Offshore Wind projects in the Philippines.

Job Description:

  • Managing all activities required to determine and refine the concept design envelope and conduct pre-FEED;
  • Leading pre-feasibility, feasibility and pre-FEED activities including data collection, layout preparation, approvals preparation, and equipment selection to refine the project design envelope;
  • Leading RFP processes for key studies, including specification of requirements/scope, pre- qualification and shortlisting of tenderers, evaluation of bids and contract negotiation with selected tenderer;
  • Preparing and maintaining an up-to-date project development plan including budget, schedule and risk register;
  • Providing technical inputs for environmental and other government approvals including preliminary designs, layouts, and specifications;
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with key advisors and suppliers and keeping abreast of supplier, technology, and product developments;
  • Negotiating scopes of work and contract terms with consultants, contractors and suppliers as required;
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with key stakeholders, particularly government agencies;
  • Developing a deep understanding, and the ability to influence, government policy, regulations and standards;
  • Communicating and influencing cross-functionally with all levels of management
  • Providing input to routine and non-routine project reporting;
  • Promoting a positive Workplace Health and Safety culture in the workplace.
