I started my working career in Oil and Gas working offshore on a platform rig. I moved to Singapore in 2016 taking up a sales role in recruitment, for which I have serviced accounts across technology. I started my recruitment career in the Finance and Technology industries, and now at NextWave focusing in the climate-tech industry, specializing in IoT & software solutions roles. 

Area of Specialisation

My area of expertise is in working with Smart Technology Companies within climate-tech, clean-tech, and sustainability tech. This includes businesses involved in Smart Energy, Smart City and Smart Nation projects. I assist companies in building their teams across a number of positions related to the Internet of Things (IoT).

My thoughts on Climate-tech

Although smart technology has been in existence for over a decade, it has only recently started to empower our daily lives both personally and professionally with the increase of emphasis on climate-tech, clean-tech, and sustainability tech. The pandemic further boosted the progression of IoT implementation across Asia-Pacific.

I work with companies involved in creating Smart Buildings / Smart Energy / Medical Technology (among others) and I find it interesting to see the ways in which businesses are utilising IoT and the type of information they are generating. This is one of the main reasons I enjoy working for companies in this industry, and also why I enjoy speaking to professionals in this space.
