About the Company

The company is highly experienced and well ognized industry leaders in Renewable Energy Development. Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct early-stage technical feasibility assessments for battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  
• Engage in technical negotiations and coordination with grid operators to ensure grid compliance and project viability.
  
• Develop comprehensive EPC tender packages, including technical specifications, scope definitions, and design requirements.
  
• Evaluate and review EPC contractor proposals, manage technical clarification processes, and deliver clear recommendations for contractor selection.
  
• Oversee EPC contractors' technical execution to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
  
• Provide ongoing technical support for operations and maintenance (O&M), either directly or by managing service providers and contractors.
  
• Contribute expertise to developing operational models and strategies for BESS assets, focusing on performance optimization and reliability.
  
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in battery technology, power conversion systems, control systems, and trends in EPC and system integration approaches.
  
• Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with key equipment vendors, system integrators, and EPC contractors operating in Japan's energy market.
  

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  
• 8-12 years of experience in the power sector-ideally in solar PV, BESS, or related renewable energy fields, though not strictly required.
  
• Fluency in Japanese, with English proficiency equivalent to a TOEIC score of at least 800.
