About the Role:

We are seeking a talented BESS Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of battery energy storage systems. As a BESS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing our energy storage solutions, optimizing performance, and ensuring reliability.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and engineer battery energy storage systems tailored to meet specific project requirements.
2. Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine optimal locations and configurations for BESS installations.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
4. Develop and implement control strategies to optimize the performance and efficiency of BESS systems.
5. Perform system integration and testing to validate functionality and performance.
6. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to battery energy storage systems.
7. Contribute to the development of design standards, best practices, and documentation for BESS projects.



Qualifications:


1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 5+ years' experience in the design, development, and implementation of battery energy storage systems.
3. Strong understanding of battery technologies, including lithium-ion, flow batteries, and other emerging technologies.
4. Proficiency in engineering software tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and AutoCAD.
5. Experience with energy management systems (EMS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
